Zhou Zhou is a unique bar on Chapel street, Melbourne with a focus on Chinese craft beer and dumplings – a perfect match!

The interior is a modern take on 1930s Shanghai and includes elements of blue and white Chinese porcelain, wicker chairs, dark rustic timber furniture, accents of Chinese jade green , leafy indoor plants and pixelated posters of vintage Chinese beer girls.

Designed by Hecker Guthrie I was fortunate enough to work on this project through the design phase, documentation and styling.

The project has gained a lot of media attention from various blogs, magazines and The Age – Epicure. Do check out one article in particular featured in Habitus Living online where I have been quoted throughout the editorial (please be kind people!). Also of note is a feature in the current May/June ’14 issue of Vogue  – Entertaining & Travel which can be viewed here.
